WEIGHT TRAINING & EATING HEALTHY, BUT NEVER SEEING RESULTS: LEYLA

Leylas jaw-dropping transformation from an inspired woman already putting in a huge effort but never getting results. From feeling lost to inspiring others, her journey with Train with Anna

I remember Leyla’s first private message on Instagram to me, she was a really hard worker and there’s no doubt about that. See her results were not coming from a lack of her own commitment or aspiration to do well.

She already lead a fairly balanced lifestyle and she felt incredibly disheartened and overwhelmed with the fact that she could not get the result she wanted no matter how hard she tried.

One of the most exciting parts of Leyla’s journey for me was that we actually achieved the result above whilst going through a lockdown. Now as you all know lockdown was a huge challenge and restriction from getting into the gym.

This became sink or swim time. We decided to swim.

Leyla’s result became a lifestyle she never let go of, she graduated from the team having completed everything we set out to.

Its really disheartening when you’re already trying. You’re making a good effort to get up early and get exercise in, you’re going to classes and pushing yourself. Her one biggest fear as is for most women is “ i cannot commit more time” so how can this work?”

Your food choices are sensible, you’re not overeating daily or picking up junk food. Chocolate bars dont even make it into your mouth often.

Leyla felt exactly the same and I could see how frustrating this was for her, having already paid for a personal trainer and a meal plan she could not understand why the result was not coming through.

She wanted to feel comfortable in her bikini when she hit the beach in the summer and went on holiday. So i set out to help her achieve exactly that.

But the most important thing was we wanted to give Leyla the hope and realisation this could happen without having to commit even more time.

Leyla had progressed through a good amount of her fat loss journey and we were in lockdown. She wanted to create a toned and lean physique to show of incredible levels of definition on her body.

Now having to train at home could have been an obstacle, but I ensured Leyla could achieve what she wanted with the most basic of equipment.

We created a training plan that she completed in the hallway of her flat block 4 times a week through lockdown with just 60kg of weight. She filmed her workouts, sent over for form checking and we continued to progress her forward.

This was a mistake that had not been focused on before, its really easy to fall into the trap of going to the gym or classes and not really understanding what your doing.

Not tracking or progressing weights/ reps or ensuring that the way your performing each one is correct, was something that became a heavy focus for us which enabled her to achieve the definition you see through the photos.

By doing this, her self confidence grew.

This journey transformed Leylas self-confidence into us doing our first ever photoshoot.

We complete group photoshoots for one reason and that reason is to help our team find true self-confidence. The photoshoot enables each woman to do something that scares the life out of them.

Leyla never thought this was something she would do, but as we progressed and she realised she had already achieved things she never expected. She took the leap.

After the photoshoot, we took Leyla into a maintenance phase which is where we increase calories to maintain your fat loss and gain muscle.

Lockdown ended and her confidence continued to grow by wanting to take the leap in heading into a public gym.

She grew from strength to strength wanting to always do better and feel better.

After Leyla’s shoot, she continued to progress into maintaining her hard work throughout the months until graduating and moving forward with her new results alone.

You do not necessarily have to exercise more than you are now, we will teach you how to exercise effectively in the time you have.

You will have to work hard, this will not come easy. But your outcome will be worth every single second you put in.

We do not work with women for a short term fix, we will take you to a final destination where you can maintain your results. If you commit the time & effort into the plan.

There is no best starting point, if you are new to this then this is the perfect opportunity for you to learn.
